Group Class

Human Are Social Beings

Tutti means “to play together” in music lingo and that’s exactly what we want our students to experience. Playing music together is not only fun but also helps to foster social interaction and allows students to learn a diverse set of musical /non-musical skills from one another.

For Group Class, our meticulously designed curriculum ensures that each lesson is not only informative but also engaging and enjoyable. The course is structured to cater to participants of all ages and proficiency levels.

At Tutti, our group classes are kept small, about 4 to 8 students only so that everyone gets the attention they need while still enjoying the fun of learning together. Each lesson is carefully planned for the specific target group, making it easy for anyone to pick up and start playing. Classes usually run by term (12 lessons), with a clear pathway from Beginner to Intermediate and Advanced levels. Our approach is hands on and enjoyable, always aiming for students to actually play, not just learn in theory. To celebrate progress, every term usually ends with a finale performance, giving everyone the chance to shine together on stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any music background to join a group class?

Nope, not at all — that’s exactly why we’re here! Our group classes are designed for all levels, and we’ll make sure you’re placed in the right group so you won’t feel lost or left behind. Every lesson is carefully balanced to match the level of the class, so whether you’re a total beginner or have some experience, you’ll still enjoy learning and making music together.

Are group classes only for kids, or can adults join too?

Not at all! While most of our group classes are designed for kids and teenagers, we also run special After Work Ukulele and Guitar Group Classes just for working adults. These are scheduled on weekdays from 6pm to 7pm — perfect for skipping traffic, unwinding after work, and getting together with others who share the same love for music. It’s a fun and stress-free way to end the day while learning something new.

What if I don’t have my own instrument? Can I still join?

Yes, absolutely! Some of our classes, like A Cappella, Beatbox, and Music Theory, don’t require any instruments at all. For Ukulele and Guitar group classes, we can provide instruments for use during lessons — but we do recommend getting your own if you’d like to practice at home and see faster progress.

What happens if I miss a class during the term?

If you miss just one class, it won’t be replaceable — but don’t worry, we’ll share the lesson content with you so you can catch up on your own. If you need to take a longer break (what we call a hiatus in our T&C), such as being sent away for work or facing an emergency, you can apply for a long break. In such cases, we’ll reconnect you in the next term, possibly with a different group, so you won’t lose your learning progress.

How do I choose between a group class and private lessons?

If your goal is serious, personalised learning with a clear focus on exams or fast progress, then private lessons are the way to go. Group classes, on the other hand, are perfect if you want a more relaxed, fun approach — learning together with friends, enjoying music as an activity, and exploring without heavy long-term commitments. It’s a motivating way to kickstart your musical journey, and it’s also a more budget-friendly option.

How do I register and secure my spot?

Registration is simple — just get in touch with our Tutti admin team at the counter or through our website, and we’ll guide you through the process. Since our group classes are small (only 4 to 8 students per class), spots can fill up quickly. To secure your place, we recommend registering early and completing the term fee payment in advance. Once confirmed, you’ll receive your class schedule and all the details you need to get started.

What people are saying about Tutti

When the first time I dropped by the centre, I was amazed by its innovative approach of having the open mic session. At the same time, I like how the founders had structured their classroom settings and try out sessions. I highly recommended parents and any music enthusiasts to have a visit here.
